How to Configure a Firewall for TC2000

This article explains the steps to take if TC2000 is stuck at "Connecting".

Please note: TC2000 Tech Support is not trained on how to configure your firewall or authorized to make changes to your firewall.

Firewalls

Firewalls prevent unauthorized programs from accessing the internet and must be configured to allow TC2000 to connect to our servers. Disabling a firewall may correct some issues, but they can still interfere with programs if you have not specified that they should always be allowed to access the internet.

Please note: TC2000 Tech Support is not trained on how to configure your firewall, and we are only authorized to make changes to programs created by TC2000 Software Company.

If your firewall allows you to set Program Exceptions, please add TMain.exe

You may need to configure access to port numbers and/or server addresses.

For TC2000 please make sure that the following IP addresses and ports are open, use the Primary settings first and if you are still not able to connect to TC2000, use the Alternate settings:

Primary (Default)

64.239.246.135 ports 943, 4502-4530

64.239.246.147 port 80
