How to Clean Install TC2000

Clean install is a process for deleting and reinstalling the most recent version of TC2000. This is done in the event with issues like TC2000 not opening correctly, TC2000 freezing unexpectedly, etc.

1. Close TC2000

2. Open Task Manager on your computer

Use the key combination: Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Click Task Manager

3. End any running instances of "TMain"

Find TMain in the list of processes

Right Click on TMain and Select "End Task."

 

4. Open Control Panel

To open Control Panel, click the Windows button, type “Control Panel” into the search box and press Enter. Windows will search for and open the Control Panel application.

Choose Uninstall a program

Find TC2000 in list.

Right Click on TC2000, choose Uninstall.

5. Delete the "Worden Brothers, Inc" folder

Follow these steps to find and delete this folder:

  1. Right click on the windows button.
  2. Select File Explorer from the list.
  3. Select OS C: from the left sidebar menu.
  4. Click on the "Users" folder; then click on your Windows user name.
  5. Select App Data. If the folder is not visible, follow the steps below to display it.*
  6. Open the Roaming folder.
  7. Locate the Worden Brothers Inc. folder in the list and delete that folder. The file path is:**
    C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Worden Brothers, Inc

*Display Hidden Folders: You may have to turn Hidden Items on to see AppData folder. This can be done by clicking the "View button" and then checking "Hidden Items".
**If you do not see this folder and/or have previously used older versions of the software please delete the TC2000v16 Folder from the following file path:   C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\TC2000v16

6. Delete the "TC" Folder

Follow these steps to find and delete this folder:

  1. Right click on the windows button.
  2. Select File Explorer from the list.
  3. Select OS C: from the left sidebar menu.
  4. Click on the "Users" folder; then click on your Windows user name.
  5. Select Documents
  6. Locate the TC Folder in the list.
  7. Right click on the folder, choose delete. The file path is:
    C:\Users\(Your User Name)\Documents\TC

7. Reinstall TC2000

8. Sign into TC2000

Be sure to use your correct username/email and password.

You should see all of your saved content in the normal locations in your reinstalled TC2000.
