How to Find a Stock's Split Date

A sortable column allows a stock's Split Date to be viewed as a date column in the WatchList. Sorting by the date can bring the stocks with the nearest or farthest Split Date to the top of the WatchList. Here are the steps to adding and sorting by Split Date.

1. Add Split Date Column to WatchList

Select the orange Add Column button to the right of your last existing column

1. Select the orange Add Column button to the right of your last existing column

Type Split Date in the search field

2. In the Add Column window, select the column you would like added to your watchlist.

Click on Split Date

3. Your new column has been added to your watchlist.

This adds the Split Date column to the WatchList

2. Sort by Split Date

Click on the Split Date column header to Sort the WatchList

This sorts the list in descending order (largest to smallest values) which puts the farthest Split Dates at the top of the WatchList.

Click the Split Date column header a second time to reverse the order of the sort (ascending: smallest to largest value). This will put the nearest Split Dates at the top of the WatchList.

3. Review Split Date Values

Click on any symbol in the WatchList to see the Split Dates displayed for that symbol (if/where applicable)
