The Ultimate Oscillator was developed by Larry Williams to measure price momentum for an asset across multiple timeframes. It uses the 7, 14, and 28 period weighted averages. so the indicator has less volatility and fewer trade signals than other oscillators tusing only one timeframe. Signals are derived using price/indicator divergence techniques.
