Custom PCF Indicator
The custom PCF indicator allows you to create an indicator that returns a single value based on a formula.
To add a custom PCF indicator to your chart click the add plot button
You can also press the forward slash "/" key to open the add plot menu
Type PCF into the search bar
Select Custom PCF Indicator from the list of available indicators
Alternatively you could select Write Formula located at the top of the Add Plot window under the search field.
This will plot a indicator on your chart and open the editor for that formula
By default it plots an indicator of Closing prices "C" but you can edit that formula to anything you like, here we will edit the formula to return the value of the maximum High "H" of the most recent 50 bars minus the minimum Low "L" of those same bars.
Left click on OK to apply that formula
The formula has now been applied to that indicator
By default the indicator will be labeled with the formula it is calculated from (truncated in the case of long formulas). You can create a custom label for the indicator if you like. Right click on the indicator label
Left click on Edit
Type your custom label into the label box
Left click on OK
The label has now been applied
