How To Modify A Pending Options Order

There are two main ways to modify a pending order

  1. From the Trade Slider
  2. From the Orders window

These methods work for both single- and multi-legged options.

Expand or collapse content 1. Modify an order using the Trade Slider

The Trade Slider allows several aspects of the order to be modified.

To modify Quantity, click on the quantity value shown in the order trade slider

Select the desired quantity from the menu

Click Modify Order to confirm the quantity change

To modify Limit Price, click on the Limit Price field shown in the order trade slider

Select the desired limit price on spread slider. Click OK

Click Modify Order to confirm the limit price change

Expand or collapse content 2. Modify an order from the Orders window

Right-click anywhere on the order line for the order to be modified

Select Modify Order from the drop down menu

Edit any of the fields in the ticket which are to be modified

Click Submit Modify {Sym/Opt} in the modify order ticket to complete the order modification
