How to Copy a Symbol to the "My Favorites" WatchList
In TC2000 there are multiple ways to add a symbol to your My Favorites WatchList, click on one of the items below to see these steps.
1. Click on the star icon located in the top right corner of any chart template.
2. Once the star item is selected the item will appear in your My Favorites list. De-selecting the star icon will remove it from your list.
You can also add items to your My Favorites list by pressing the hot key combination "Shift V".
1. Right-click on the symbol you would like to add to the My Favorites WatchList.
You can also use the hot key combination "Shift V" if the desired symbol is already highlighted
2. Click Copy to My Favorites.
1. Multiple symbols in a Row
In a WatchList, click on the first symbol to copy.
Hold the Shift key down on the keyboard and click on the last symbol to copy. This highlights the list of all stocks between and including the first and last symbol selected.
Right-click in the shaded area of the WatchList to open the drop down menu. Select Copy to My Favorites.
You can also use the hot key combination "Shift V" when the multiple symbols are highlighted.
2. Multiple symbols randomly
In a WatchList, click on the first symbol to copy.
Hold the Control (Ctrl) key down on the keyboard and click on each individual symbol to copy. This highlights all selected stocks.
Right-click in any of the shaded areas of the WatchList to open the drop down menu. Select Copy to My Favorites.
You can also use the hot key combination "Shift V" when the multiple symbols are highlighted.
1. In the existing WatchList window
Click the WatchList picker to open the drop down menu. Select My Favorites from the Quick Lists section to make it the active WatchList in the current layout.
2. In a new WatchList window
Click the WatchList icon in the ribbon menu to open the drop down menu. Select My Favorites from the Quick Lists section to open the Flagged Items WatchList as a new window in the current layout.
