How To Edit Column Properties

You can customize properties to determine how a column looks (e.g. color, background, text size, etc.)

Set Properties for Value Columns

Right-click on column header and choose Edit from dropdown menu.

Depending on the column selected, there will be different, multiple fields to customize.

Properties to set:

  • Header (type what the column header will be labeled)
  • Color (decide what color to display the values in the column).
  • Decimal Places (choose how many numerals to place beyond a decimal point)
  • Abbreviate Vals (choose to abbreviate the values displayed in the field)
  • Prefix (choose text to display before the value field)
  • Suffix (choose text to display after the value field)
  • Show +sign (display + sign before positive values in field)
  • True color (choose the color for the checkmark, dot or scan light displayed when the condition is true of a symbol)
  • Sort (choose not to sort--blank; or sort in ascending or descending order)
  • Column Width (choose how wide to display the column in the WatchList Window)
  • Positive/Zero/Negative (choose different colors for positive, negative or zero values)

Simply set each property to the desired appearance, then click OK to complete the change.

Set Properties for True/False Columns

Right-click on column header and choose Edit from dropdown menu.

Choose the Display tab in the Edit Column window.

Simply customize any/all the fields to the display properties desired.

Properties to set:

  • When True (decide what will display in the column field for symbols meeting criteria. You can show a checkmark, dot, scan light, or have nothing displayed).
  • True color (choose the color for the checkmark, dot or scan light displayed when the condition is true of a symbol)
  • When False (decide what will display in the column field for symbols NOT meeting criteria. You can show a checkmark, dot, or have nothing displayed).
  • Refresh Rate (choose how often you want the filter to refresh results: either manually or on 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minute intervals)
  • Sort (choose not to sort--blank; or sort in ascending or descending order)
  • Column Width (choose how wide to display the column in the WatchList Window)

Click OK to complete the changes.
