How to Float Tool Windows
Any time that you open any window, it opens as an undocked window. It floats within the context of the layout, but it's bound to the main layout. Floating a window will make the new window independent of the original program layout allowing you to move windows to multiple monitors.
1. Click New.

2. Choose what type of window you would like to float.

3. Click the Float in New layout Window button in your new window.

To float an entire layout right click on the layout tab and select Float in New Window

To float a window that is already docked in your layout, left-click the Move button, then Float in New Window
